a horde of wanna-be Pokemon trainers had descended on the pair and attempted
to collect them. The dragon had been unable to use his full powers until he
was sure Cheshire was clear of the area and now he couldn't get serious
without toasting the annoying but innocent bystanders.
Having no interest in fighting when there were women to chase Zirk flew
off on his hover platform in pursuit of Myuki. The Little Purple Dragon
followed but his wings couldn't match Zirk's engines for speed so he dropped
back as Zirk found and followed Cheshire.
Fortunately before he could intercept her Cheshire entered the defensive
perimeter of the Institute. Not wanting to challenge our defenses without a
plan and being just beyond our detection range Zirk shifted into stealth mode
and waited for an opportunity. Which arrived in a very unexpected form.
Flying past the stealthed Zirk the Little Purple Dragon caught Cheshire's
scent and went to see that she was all right. The scanners detected a small,
fast moving living object and misidentified it as Zirk. The Zirk alarm
activated and Punsaurus 2 was roused to fight the Bubblebelly. Meanwhile our
air defenses failed to intercept the dragon but aroused a justified amount of
paranoia in his mind. Finding his way into the Institute he followed the
scent to a group room's observation monitor where he saw his mistress and her
friend in restraints. Assuming the worst he began trying to break into the
room to set them free but hadn't got too far when Punsaurus 2 arrived.

his predilections so it was time to give him a taste of Winslow.

Myuki watching him flee. While she might be dizzy from the catnip she just
could not imagine getting stoned enough to desire Zirk. She couldn't deny
Ani and Uni's warning about the effect Zirk could have on his victims
anymore. However he had done it Zirk had infected Myuki with a bad case of
Bubblebelly lust.
Meanwhile with the smoke clearing we began the confusing task of working
out just what had happened. Punsaurus 2 and the Little Purple Dragon kept a
wary eye on one another but didn't resume their fight. The dragon did start
over to free Cheshire and Myuki (which nearly lead to a resumption of
hostilities) but stopped when Cheshire began frantically shaking her head.
She didn't want Myuki getting loose in her current state so it was better to
wait until the situation was sorted out.
The arrival of Emma Frost accomplished that as she certified Cheshire was
free of Zirk's influence and released her. While the Institute had taken
major damage in the battlezone area it was recognised that there were faults
on both sides that had lead to the incident so the matter of blame was quietly
dropped and the Pinks told to get to work on repairs.
Cheshire accepted Dr. Frost's assessment of Myuki's condition and that
she would likely need long term care to overcome it and they agreed there were
no hard feelings over how things had gone.
The only thing left to do was to get their respective pets/mascots to
settle their differences which was easier than expected.
