Punsaurus

Punsaurus was originally intended to battle a rogue Senshi gang from Japan but
shortly after its creation Dr. ARNie found favor with this particular creation
and wanted it to be her crowning achievement.  For six months Punsaurus was
put through some training in order to give it enough fighting skills that it
would be sure to defeat its intended foes.  But during the training its
internal radiation built up to a dangerous level since Punsaurus was never
allowed to vent its power.  Eventually its radiation levels rose to a
dangerous level that affected its mind and after an explosive venting he
broke out of Dr. ARNie!'s lab and went on a rampage.  During this rampage
a giant Zirk also landed and began causing destruction.



Eventually the two met and Punsaurus used its stored energy to destroy the
creature but caused its own death in the process.  Because of this Punsaurus'
last act was viewed as heroic and Dr. ARNie was praised for its creation.  It
also brought her to the attention of Mr. Grimbor Chainsman who had tried,
unsuccessfully, to contain the giant Zirk with an mega restraint.

Powers: Punsaurus utilized "electrical radiation" that generates within its
body.  It normally dissipated through the tip of its glowing tail but even
that wasn't enough and he had to release energy bursts.  When he used his
power an electrical energy bolt fired from his tail and would strike a random
target if he wasn't directing it.  If he wanted to direct it the bolt hit his
helmet where he channeled it into a directed irradiated energy blast.  His
body could absorb and collect radiation energy.

Weapon: Punsaurus' battleaxe Winslow was intended to be a second conductor
for his "electrical radiation" power and he was supposed to have used it to
charge up so that it would have more of an explosive kick.  Unfortunately he
never wielded Winslow this way through most of his short life until the very
end when he destroyed the giant Zirk.  The ensuing explosion brought the end
to both creatures and was the only time he used his battleaxe in such a
manner.  Winslow was the only thing that survived Punsarus' passing.
