This floor is both the hub of our administrative facilities and where we
host conferences and lectures for and by others in the mental health field.
Next door is the auditorium and stage where the more formal presentions are
made but this large hall space is multipurpose. It serves as a conference
and/or banquet hall for outsiders but it's also designated as a recreational
lounge for large scale staff activities.
One of the best examples of this is that we use this area to host our
Halloween Parties which tend to be much very lavish affairs and much wilder
than the Christmas Parties. Especially for the last two years.
In fact 2004's Halloween party saw the premiere of our latest advances in
therapeutic technology. To preserve our propriatory technology patents we had
to classify most information about 2004's party until our patents were
approved. Now that this hurdle has been cleared and we have begun patient
trials we can finally reveal the popular party games played tht night in
October.

Halloween Party 2004

We also had a real blowout the previous year

Halloween Party 2003

More recently the lounge served to host our annual Christmas party for staff and invited guests.

Christmas Party 2005

We also had a merry time at the previous Christmas Party

Christmas Party 2004

Well If you don't want to hear anymore about the parties then there's not really anything else to see in the lounge solet's move on to something else. Perhaps for human interest purposes you'd rather hear about some of the pranks staff pull on each other outside of the parties? Would you like to meet the Support Staff workers who attended the party? Or our doctors and nurses who were also there? So were the members of our involuntary patient acquisition team, many of whom participated in Harley's game Of course our Physical Trainer's assistants helped out Harley. Curious where they usually work? You might like to talk to our student interns, they were introduced to the Instittue at a Halloween party Or we could change the subject entirely and I could give you the scoop on our advances in humane capture technology Alternately some visitors have been fascinated by the specifics of our patient restraint and control equipment Others have wanted to hear all about our use of robotics If you insist we could take a look at our underground high security storage facility Of course you can always return to the Open Wards Finally there's one more option. The place most everyone wants to see.

Do you still want to see the Grimbor Ward?

If you really want you can return to the Lobby Or we can end the tour
