Grimbor T. Chainsman - Our Founder



     A latecomer to the field of abnormal psychology Mr. Chainsman was for
years the most respected craftsman in the fields of locksmithery and restraint
technologies.  Universally respected and known by the nickname "Grimbor the
Chainsman" (or just "Grimbor") his skill was sought by a multitude of medical
and judical authorities concerning their security needs. 

     

Ms. Charma - Behind Every Great Man ...


     It was after Ms. Charma joined him as his business manager and
subsequentally his partner that Mr. Chainsman's interests began to change from
design work to personal participation.

     Ms. Charma who brought to his attention a situation he had been
overlooking.  The mass destruction inflicted in the name of fighting evil by
the highly unstable quasi legal vigilante group known as the Legion of
Superheroes.  Convinced they needed to be brought under control before the
disasters worsened she enlisted his aid in trying to give the uncontrollable
teenagers a sense of restraint

Mr. Chainsman and Ms. Charma pioneered the use of sensory
deprivation therapy in the treatment of Superheroines



     The Legionaires were less than responsive to the pair's efforts to reform
them.  Undaunted by this failure but devastated by the tragic death of Ms.
Charma a few weeks later Mr. Chainsman began a solo campaign against the
Legion's excesses which he has admitted, in hindsight, was excessively
obsessive.
     Regaining his sense of proportion Mr. Chainsman founded and endowed the
Chainsman Institute and began recruiting professionals who shared his view
that the media icons of the comics and anime fields needed to learn some
limits.  A mission that the Institute has continued to pursue relentlessly.
     As Mr Chainsman holds the post of Chief Executive Officer of the
Institute he is occasionally nicknamed "Grimbor the Chairsman" though he
prefers to continue perfecting his craft to facing the day to day business
of overseeing institutional administration.  Since he hired his Executive
Assistant Ms. Catherine Margrave he has been able to delegate some of his
duties to her so he can once again devote the time he needs to doing more
hands on work.  Which is a bit unusual for the average CEO but it works so
the Administrative Staff are happy to let this state of affairs continue.
