Those doors mark the entranceway to the Vault. The High Security Storage Unit designed to safely contain the hazardous artifacts many of our patients possessed. You can take a picture of the outside if you like but under no circumstances will the doors be opened. The contents are far too dangerous to risk anyone interfering with the containment systems. Also past experience has shown that the artifacts present too great a temptation to risk uncontrolled access. Almost no one is allowed entry. You see the yellow line on the floor and the large letters in 8 languages saying "Authorized Personnel Only"? That's no joke. Set one foot over that line and the
Jennies on duty will bring you down with paste guns, tape buddies, Spyders and whatever else it takes. Orderlies who have set a toe over the line on a dare have found out the hard way there are no exceptions to the rule and suffered the standard disciplinary penalty. That means loss of a week's pay. You expected something more severe? Why? It's an appropriate penalty. After all they aren't going to be working while spending a week undergoing aversion therapy in the Grimbor Ward Of course it's not just staff who pose problems. The Jennies also had to demonstrate their skills on the last reporter who visited this area. No need to look nervous. It turned out she wasn't actually a reporter, just a thief impersonating one. Are you familiar with the name Fujiko Mine? She's a rather infamous criminal, Interpol has been after for years. After her capture she was committed to Grimbor Ward as per standard practice. Not long after that three very dangerous male associates showed up to free her. It took some doing but we managed to subdue the trio and deliver them to the next place on your tour.

Cryogenics Facility

As I believe I've already mentioned male intruders present a problem. We simply commit female intruders to the
Grimbor Ward but we don't have the facilities to treat them and we're loath to put pressure on the overburdened legal system by handing them over to the police. We have also learned that all too often they get a slap on wrist and are freed to re-offend which puts unnecessary and avoidable demands on our Security Department. We solved our dilemma by enacted another of our unique programs. If you'll study our surroundings you'll see the results of our solution all around you.
No, no. Nothing so extreme. This is no morgue. This is a cryogenics storage facility. Using the techniques pioneered by Professor Victor Fries the intruders are put into suspended animation
Then placed into storage until such time as we expand our facilities to enable us to treat male patients or an instituion with similar goals but orientated towards their needs is founded.
No, we have no idea of a timeframe for either contingency. There have been suggestions that they should be unfrozen and released when the individuals they were attempting to free have completed their therapy programs. Others feel that restoring their influence could serve to unbalance the patients and undo months or years of therapy. At any rate it's currently a moot point as none of the involuntary committal cases have yet reached the stage of being safe to release into the community. I see nothing odd about that. These are hard core cases, not the sort of people to change overnight. It's not unreasonable to assume they'll be under our care for a considerable amount of time. Are you all right? You appear to be shivering. Yes, it is a bit chilly in here. By all means let's move on. So what would you like to do now? Meet the Medical Staff? Or meet the Support Staff? Don't forget our Training Staff, they test and keep everyone up to date on our latest innovations Interview one of our involuntary patient acquisition team if you'd like Perhaps you'd like to meet our Physical Trainers and see the Gym You might like to talk to our student interns Would you like to see the lounge where we hold conferences and staff parties? You could see our advances in humane capture technology. Or our innovative use of robotics. Perhaps you'd like to hear about our friendly staff rivalries? Or the details on our patient control equipment. We could return to the Open Wards. Finally there's one more option. The place most everyone wants to see.
